The murder of Troy Davis The justice system has never meant justice for black people, only a fool believes that. The system has been developed and tweaked through the years to the near perfect system of slavery and oppression that it is today. The culture in the United States was always designed around the idea of white supremacy. The reason that this case with Mr. Davis has gained so much attention is sad, although the results are positive. Not that he was murdered by the state of Georgia; killing is not a good thing. The difference this time from all others, more people gave a shit than ever. Times are hard the invisible is now visible; we are noticing other people getting messed over the more we are getting messed over as a whole. The reality is setting in they don’t care about none of us (white people too) over and over we see or are a victim of an unjust system, a corrupt system. The whole system is corrupt from the bottom to the top. We can change this; we all have to get involved in the process of politics, sign petitions, go to rallies, or what ever it takes. We can’t let the movement end with the death of one man. As Troy said himself this didn’t start with him don’t let it end with him. We must keep the fight going.
